On 8th March 2025, International Women's day was celebrated at BTC DAV College Banikhet. The Program began with highlighting the significance of International Women's Day and the importance of gender equality. Students delivered inspiring speeches on Women's rights and empowerment, sharing personal stories and perspectives. At the end of program the principal of college, Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal motivate the participants and increased awareness among students about the importance of gender equality and women's rights.
On 6th March 2025, science related activities were organized at BTC DAV College Banikhet. The event aimed to promote scientific awareness and provide platform for students to showcase their scientific talents and innovation. Students organized various exhibitions which included scientific experiment, models and biological pictures. The main attraction of event was "Food Adulteration" students did various experiments and giving information about it. At the end of program, the Principal of college Dr.Ranju Bala Patiyal, explained the importance of science to the students and motivated them to participated in such activities in the future as well.
On 12th Feb. 2025 the annual birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Sarswati was organized in BTC DAV College Banikhet under the chairmanship of principal Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal. The ceremony was started by lighting the lamp. Yagya was performed by the Principal, teachers and students. Apart from this,poetry,recitation,speech competition were organized. The students of the college participated enthusiastically in each competition. The principal of college mentioned the welfare work done by Swami Dayand Sarswati for the society. In the end, winners were awarded prizes. The ceremony ended with presentation of National Anthem.
NSS volunteers of BTC DAV College Banikhet organised a special seven-day camp,titled "Green India Clean India ", from February 1 to 7. NSS Programme Officer Narender Kumar led the camp,in which 50 NSS volunteers participated. the volunteers participated in cleanliness drives organised on the college campus and Nag Devta Temple premises . The volunteers also organised the drive at Padar ground., in which local villages also participated. The volunteers cleaned drains pf various parts of the town and surrounding villages. A tracking expedition and plantation drive was also held. Besides, cultural the volunteers also took part in various cultural performance. Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal motivated the participants to contribute towards society and the country by becoming responsible citizens.
The 33rd Annual Sports Day Prize Distribution was celebrated on 17/12/2024 at Paddar Ground Banikhet.Mr. Anil Bhardwaj,SDM Dalhousie cum Alumni of this college was the Chief Guest and Mr. Sandeep Kumar ,Bank manager, HP State Co-operative Bank Banikhet .In which students from all streams/ classes viz Board classes, UG classes and PG classes participated with great enthusiasm and spirit. Special recognition was given to the best athletes of the year Mr. Sourabh (men category) and Ms. Komal Kumari (women category)for their outstanding team spirit and overall performance. The ceremony concluded with an inspiring speech by the Principal Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal. emphasizing the importance of physical fitness,discipline, and perseverance.
A two days educational tour was organised by BTC DAV College Banikhet Dalhousie from 14th Dec. to 15th Dec 2024 to Amritsar. During the trip students were given the opportunity to visit Wagha Border,Jallianwala Bagh after seeking blessings at Golden Temple. The aim of tour was to inculcate patriotism in the students and connect them to our rich culture.
International AIDS day was organised at BTC DAV College Banikhet with courtesy of Red Ribbon Club. On this day Poem recitation,speech, Collage making and poster making were organised. The main attraction of program was the skit. At the end of program Principal of college Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal congratulate the winner and aware the students about the cause and effects of AIDS.
Food Start-Up fest was organised at BTC DAV College Banikhet in which stalls of traditional food were setup by students. The students used innovative ideas to create the ambience and atmosphere of our chambyali culture. All the guests relished the food and appreciated the efforts and hardwork of students.This program reflect how "Teaching subjects impact on Traditional culture of Chamba". At the end of fest both students and guests were happy and satisfied.
BTC DAV College Banikhet conducted a Mock Drill with the help of NDRF for NCC,NSS and other students of college. The drill was aimed at honing skills to deal with natural and man made disasters including damaged caused by fire due to gas leakage and flood etc.
Special Lecture was organized at BTC DAV College Banikhet on the 118th Birth Anniversary of Shahid -E -Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh in which Sardar Bhagat Singh's nephew Karanjeet was present as Chief Guest.
A Yajna ceremony was organized in BTC DAV College Banikhet. Yajna was performed for bright future of students in which Santosh Kumar Executive Director of NHPC Banikhet was present as a Chief Guest.
A one day program was organized in BTC DAV College under wildlife week in which stalls of healthy meal, plant products and animal products was set up. This program was started by given information on Red data Book.
An Orientation Programme was held under the Chairmanship of Principal Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal . She motivated all the students and asked them to pursue their dreams and use enormous facilities provided by college.

Campus Introduction: A campus tour led by faculty members. The tour included visits to key locations such as academic buildings, libraries and laboratories.

Sense of Belonging: To foster a sense of belongings, ice breaking activities and team building exercise were conducted .
Extra-Curricular Activities: Students are introduced to a variety of extracurricular opportunities including clubs, societies, sports teams, and cultural groups.
Attendance and Discipline: Clear policies on attendance and disciplinary guidelines are communicated to promote responsible behavior and uphold academic integrity.
Motivational Speaking: Faculty members delivered a motivational speech, sharing personal experiences and the importance of perserverance and hard work.
Environment:The College's commitment to sustainability was highlighted, encouraging student participation in green initiatives.
Anti-Ragging Measures: Students are educated about these policies during orientation, promoting a culture of respect and zero tolerance towards misconduct.
Sports Day and Scholarship Opportunities: The announcement of the annual sports day added excitement , encouraging students to participate in various events. The college's scholarship programs were discussed including merit based and need based scholarship and application process.
Feb 28,2024 National Science day is celebrated every year to commemorate the great Indian Scientist C.V. Raman who gave the Raman effect for which he was awarded with Noble Prize. The Theme for 2024 was "Indigenous Technologies for Vikshit Bharat".
On this occasion of National Science Day, Science Department organised various activities in the college campus like presentation on C.V. Raman's work, heart functioning activity,blood group determination,logo making competition,model making,chemical activities. Students from various science stream participated in the event enthusiastically.
Principal, Dr. Ranju Bala Patyal elaborate the theme "Indigenous Technologies for Vikshit Bharat" and motivated the students and staff to adopt it practically in their lives.

World Computer Day was celebrated on 15th Feb 2024 at BTC DAV COLLEGE BANIKHET in which large no. of students of the college remains present. On this day Poster making, Quiz Competition and PowerPoint presentation competition were organized .
On the Occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, eleven havan kund was organized at BTC DAV College, Banikhet . SDM Mr. Anil Bhardwaj was also present on this occasion.

In the first phase of the program on 30th Nov 2023 red ribbon symbol was made by the students and a poster making was also conducted.In the second phase on 1st dec 2023 various activities like mime, face painting ,rangoli etc. were conducted.At the end of the program principal of the college Dr. Ranju Bala Patiyal highlighted the theme of the year 2023 "Let Communities Led" and said that communities should come forward help the AIDS victims.
World Statistics Day is celebrated after every five years, in order to Honor the Professor, who played a very important role in Statistics. Late Professor Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis, also known as the “Father of Statistics” was born in Calcutta, West Bengal in 1893. PC Mahalanobis is well known for inventing the Mahalanobis distance, a statistics metric & surving on India’s first planning commission. On this wonderful day, BTC DAV College Banikhet (Dalhousie) Celebrated “World Statistics Day” on dated 20.10.2023. Dr. Ranju Bala Patyal gave her valuable presence on this occasion by giving her valuable time & guidance. Different activities i.e., PowerPoint Presentations; Quiz Competition; Statistics Games & Rangoli Competition were conducted by Department of Mathematics & Commerce. Maximum no. of students in this college was participated.
International Girl Child day was celebrated at BTC DAV college banikhet on wednesday (11 Oct 2023) . It focused on the need to address the challenges girls face, promote girls empowerment and fulfilment of their basic human rights.
On this day Slogan writing, Pot decoration and musical chair competition were organised.
